I've never had much of a sweet tooth. Sure, I've polished off my share of banana splits (without whipped cream of course. That stuff is evil lol) and helped to support the Snicker's bar maker's union #1321. However, I've never really been a sweet guy. I like spicy, savory, and/or bland.
So, the shakes have been a neat test of psyche. Does one have to "force" down a great tasting chocolate? Should it be "hard" to consume cookies 'n cream @ 9pm? Are "bananas" and "strawberries" for breakfast such horrible things?
No. But I've definitely had ABSOLUTELY NO cravings for sweets or carbs. If anything (and this is a stretch because I've really had no cravings to speak of) I've wanted a bit more savory and salty in my diet. I'd love an extra salad a day!
I think this is what the government refers to as "reprogramming".
Whatever it is, It'll probably be a good thing in the near future when I begin the return to normal food.
